Stefanie Iverson Cabral of the University of Washington Department of Medicine talks about Mycoplasma genitalium, the smallest bacterium that is able to reproduce itself and wreaks havoc on humans. Cabral discusses the "tricks" this tiny organism employs to win the battle between bacterial pathogen and human host and what it can tell us about other infectious diseases.
